Summary

Born and raised in Italy, I am a Visual Effects Supervisor with

more than three decades of experience delivering visual effects for

feature films, television and commercial. Most recently, I supported

Capilano University in the Motion Capture and Virtual Production

Lab, helping develop and advance real-time production workflows.

I worked with some of the world's leading studios, including Marvel

Studios, Warner Bros., and Disney. As a VFX Supervisor at Cinesite,

I supervised and delivered visual effects for Ticket to Paradise, Black

Panther: Wakanda Forever, nominated for the Academy Award

for Best Visual Effects and The Fall Guy..After earning a Master's

Degree in Fine Arts, graduating cum laude, I initially pursued

photography before discovering computer graphics. I entered the

visual effects industry in the 1990s where I built a strong foundation

in compositing as an Inferno artist and working mostly at the Mill

in London. After become Visual Effects Supervisor at the Mill for

television productions for the BBC and Sky One, I moved into feature

films in the early 2000s. My credits include Harry Potter and the

Prisoner of Azkaban, Sunshine, Harry Potter and the Order of the

Phoenix, Man of Steel, and Exodus: Gods and Kings. My passion

for collaboration and international filmmaking took me to Australia to

work for Animal Logic and New Zealand for Weta, where I worked

on 300 and King Kong.Throughout my career, I have supervised the

creation of photorealistic digital environments and characters, the

seamless integration of CG into live action, and the development

of complex simulations including water, fire, destruction, and

other large scale visual effects. My background gave me a deep

understanding of the entire visual effects pipeline, from bidding

and look development to the final delivery, supervising large

and multidisciplinary teams. continues to shape my approach to

supervision where my compositing background enabled me to bridge

the creative and technical aspects of production while maintaining

the highest standards of image quality and visual continuity.As a

VFX Supervisor, I believe visual effects should always serve the

story. I work closely with directors, cinematographers, production

narrative and integrates seamlessly into the filmmaker's creative

vision. I am passionate about combining artistry with technology,

continually exploring new workflows in visual effects, while fostering

a great collaboration across every project.
